Innovative Capture and Electrocution Technology: The Dead or Alive Rat Trap® uses infrared barrier capture technology that instantly detects the presence of a rat or mouse in the trap. In less than 120 milliseconds, the trap doors close, trapping the animal. You then have the option of choosing "Live" mode to release the captured animal or "Dead" mode to eliminate it by electrocution. The 6,000-volt discharge is calibrated to kill instantly, painlessly, ensuring a quick and painless death for the rodent. This system eliminates the need for rodenticides or poisons, thus eliminating any risk of environmental contamination or prolonged suffering for the animal.

A Conduit Suitable for All Types of Rodents: With an internal diameter of 75 mm, the conduit leading to the electrocution cell is designed to allow mice, young rats and even dominant adult rats to pass through without any problem. However, its size prevents larger animals such as hedgehogs, pigeons, or even adult cats from entering the danger zone. This trap is therefore both effective against rodents and safe for other species.
