Operating principle
The solar panels convert sunlight directly into a 5V electric current. They do not store energy. The energy produced is transferred to and stored in your device's battery (smartphone, power bank, camera, speaker, tablet, action cam, etc.).
To maximize efficiency, SUNMOOVE® solar chargers are built with SUNPOWER™ monocrystalline cells, offering 25% to 35% more power than standard solar cells. An integrated LED charge indicator helps you monitor the charging status of your device.
Weather conditions?
- Sunny weather: Perfect for solar charging. Plug in your device and fully unfold the 4 SUNMOOVE® solar panels facing the sun — charging starts immediately. For optimal performance, position the panels perpendicular to the sun’s rays.
- Cloudy weather: Use a power bank as a buffer between the solar panel and your device.
- Rainy conditions: SUNMOOVE® panels are made of waterproof materials for outdoor use. The USB output located at the back of the panel is protected during rain (but is not waterproof — do not submerge it). Dry the charger thoroughly before folding and storing it in a dry place.
- Low light or high battery demand: Use a power bank as an intermediary for effective charging. Compatible devices?
