Use of the SUNMOOVE® 6.5 Watt solar charger
Principle
Solar panels convert sunlight directly into a 5 V electrical voltage; they do not store energy. The energy produced by the solar panel is then stored in a battery (smartphone, powerbank, camera, speaker, tablet, micro-camera, etc.). To achieve maximum efficiency, SUNMOOVE® solar chargers are designed with “SUNPOWER TM” monocrystalline cells that provide 25 to 35% more power than conventional cells. An integrated charge indicator LED on the solar panel ensures proper charging of the device.
What weather?
– The sun is shining: perfect weather for solar charging. Connect your device and fully unfold the 4 SUNMOOVE® solar panels towards the sun; charging starts immediately. For optimal charging, it is recommended to position the panels perpendicular to the sunlight.
– If the weather is overcast: using a powerbank (buffer battery between the solar charger and the device) is necessary.
– In rainy weather: the SUNMOOVE® solar panels are designed with waterproof materials for outdoor use. The USB output located on the back of the panel is therefore protected in case of rain (the USB output is not waterproof: do not leave it in water). Dry the SUNMOOVE® solar charger after use before folding it and storing it in a dry place.
– If the light is too low or your device is power-hungry: use a power bank between the solar panel and your device.
Which devices can be charged?
The SUNMOOVE® solar charger is compatible with all USB charging cables, and it comes with a USB-C / Micro USB / iPhone cable. It allows you to charge smartphones, mini action cameras, SAT phones, and other 5V devices. To check if your device is charging properly, the SUNMOOVE® 6.5 Watts solar charger is equipped with a charging indicator on the USB port of the solar panel. For optimal charging of your devices, orient and stabilize the panels perpendicular to the sunlight.
