Shotkam Quick Release Mount for 20 Gauge and Rifle (18-21.5mm)

Add your ShotKam to any 20 gauge barrel with this additional quick mount. The aluminum mount is equipped with rubber pads that provide a firm grip without leaving marks. No metal-to-metal contact.

NOTE: Compatible with Generation 3 and 4 ShotKams.

Rifle Mounting

This 20 gauge camera accessory is also suitable for rifles with the following barrel dimensions: from 18 mm to 21.5 mm.

Barrel dimensions may vary, so please measure the width of your rifle's barrel at the point where you would mount the ShotKam. Use a digital caliper to measure your barrel.

Is it compatible with my firearm? 

The ShotKam is compatible with all types of shotguns: break-action (over-and-under), semi-automatics, and pump-action. The default setting for the ShotKam is for over-and-under shotguns, but you can easily change this setting in the mobile app based on your type of shotgun.

Each mount is compatible with Gen 3 and Gen 4 ShotKam models. For more information on the size of each mount, keep reading below.

12 Gauge Quick Release MountOur 12-gauge quick-release mount is automatically included with all new ShotKam purchases. The aluminum mount is lined with rubber pads that provide a firm grip without leaving marks. There is no metal-to-metal contact. This size is also recommended for the following barrel sizes:

  • 10-gauge: Your 10-gauge shotgun will fit our 12-gauge quick-release mount, so you do not need additional mounts.
  • 16 Gauge: Your 16 gauge shotgun will fit our 12 gauge quick-release mount, so you won't need an additional mount. Occasionally, a 16 gauge barrel may require the addition of an extra support pad; use the free extra pad in the "spare parts bag" included with every ShotKam purchase. To move the ShotKam between shotguns, simply loosen the silver screw to open the mount. The camera remains securely attached in the mount, and then the top section opens like a clamp to attach to your barrel. You only need one 12 gauge quick-release mount per ShotKam; there's no benefit to having more than one. Tighten with approximately 2.3 kg of pressure; do not overtighten.

Mounts for Lower Gauges:

  • Quick Release 20 Gauge Mount: Attaches ta;ShotKam to any 20 gauge over-and-under or single-barrel shotgun.
  • 28 Caliber Mount: Attaches the ShotKam to any 28 gauge over-and-under or single-barrel shotgun.
  • .410 Caliber Mount: Attaches your ShotKam to any .410 caliber over-and-under or single-barrel shotgun and Express-style rifles. These smaller sizes are not available in a "quick-release" design. They take approximately 2 minutes to attach and are lined with rubber pads that provide a firm grip without leaving marks. There is no metal-on-metal contact.

Side-by-Side Shotgun Options (Double Barrel Side by Side):

  • Side-by-Side 12 Gauge Shotgun: Attach the ShotKam to any side-by-side 12 gauge shotgun with this additional mount. *Specifications for side-by-side 12 gauge shotguns: Barrel width 40.5 mm to 44 mm.

  • 20-Gauge Side-by-Side Shotgun: The Ta;ShotKam can be mounted on a 20-gauge side-by-side shotgun, but this mount is custom-made. We only sell the adapter for a 12-gauge side-by-side shotgun on our website, but we can customize it for a 20-gauge double-ended shotgun. We simply add extra rubber pads to the 12-gauge side-by-side mount to reduce its size and make it compatible with a 20-gauge double-ended shotgun.   • 28-gauge Side-by-Side Shotgun: Our mounts are not compatible with this size at the moment. The ShotKam can be mounted on most rifles and some extension tubes as well.
