Foam barrel cleaner with a spray probe of approximately 60 cm.

The C4G gun cleaner is a modern cleaning agent without oil additives. This cleaner is based on a dense active foam that expands on its own, reaching all areas evenly. For perfect application in the barrel, the foam cleaner comes with a spray probe of about 60 cm. C4G degreases metal surfaces, dissolves and removes residues of black powder, copper, and lead. Additionally, C4G removes superficial rust on the weapon's steel. The foam cleaner forms a dry anti-rust layer, protecting the surface from wear and reducing the subsequent formation of black powder residues. This overall simplifies the gun cleaning process.

A unique feature: the optical indicator of barrel cleaning progress.

The foam from the C4G barrel cleaner indicates the degree of existing contamination by a bluish discoloration. The less blue discoloration there is, the cleaner the barrel is.

Here’s how to use the cleaning foam for the barrel:

  • Clean the barrel with a wire brush or spiral wire brush to remove coarse dirt.
  • Shake the can well before use. Then, insert the cleaner with the spray nozzle into the nozzle. To do this, first fully insert the nozzle and spray while withdrawing it. If the nozzle is long, work from both ends.
  • Leave the cleaning foam in the barrel for 10 to 15 minutes, then wipe it off with a wool cloth.
  • For thorough cleaning in case of particularly stubborn dirt, you can simply repeat the process until the blue discoloration disappears.
  • After cleaning, store the weapon with FOR GUN gun oil.
  • C4G is not suitable for cleaning and maintaining wooden parts. If the cleaner drips onto the wooden parts, simply wipe it off. For wooden parts, use FOR GUN Rewoil premium stock maintenance oil.
