The Walloon Government adopted, on Thursday, June 5, the five-year decree setting the hunting periods for the 2025 to 2030 seasons.
While initial recommendations from theDNFand theDEMNAraised concerns about major upheavals, particularly general openings on October 15, pragmatism prevailed. The changes remain limited and mainly concern certain species and hunting methods.

The delay in the publication of the decree requires compliance with the law: no hunting allowed during this period, including for wild boar and fox.
Only targeted destruction may be requested.
