Taking a workshop with a knife maker to create your own knife is a unique and fascinating experience. Not only does it allow you to discover the ancestral art of knife making, but also to create a functional and personal object.
It allows you to learn the different stages of making a fixed or folding knife, from design to finishing. You will be able to choose the appropriate materials, such as steel for the blade, and different types of wood or horn for the handle.
In addition to learning specific techniques, this workshop also offers the opportunity to express your creativity, to understand and appreciate the meticulous and precise work that knife making requires. Each step of the process, from choosing materials to finishing, requires special attention and meticulous care. It is an opportunity to learn the value of well-done work and attention to detail. It is an immersion into the fascinating world of knife making, allowing you to reconnect with manual work and develop new skills.
