SunLab Solar Cooker for Kids

Designed for children, the Sunlab® solar cooker allows for discovering solar cooking through an educational and tasty experience. After building the oven using the 3C rule (concentration-capture-conservation), little solar chefs create many creative recipes. Chocolate-dipped fruit skewers, vegetable and cheese toasts, reheatable dishes (…). Easy to use, fun & reusable, the Sunlab can be taken anywhere.

SUNLAB® Solar Cooker for Kids 

The workshop of little innovative solar chefs! The SUNLAB® is a mini solar oven designed specifically for children. An experience of gentle solar cooking from 40 to 80°C, in 3 educational steps:

– Build a solar oven, using the 3C rule: Concentration – Conservation – Capture

– Discover solar energy, the Sunlab solar cooker uses the energy of the sun.

– Cook and invent delicious and creative recipes; skewers and chocolate-covered fruit lollipops, vegetable and cheese toasts.

The Sunlab® solar cooker reaches a temperature between 40 and 80°C, in summer and winter, providing gentle and natural cooking.

THE SUNLAB®, A FUN SOLAR COOKER TO TAKE ANYWHERE!

Compact, durable, and lightweight (350 g), it can be taken anywhere and allows for reheating a large number of dishes!

Contains: 9 S.Reflect mirrors, 1 thermometer (°C & °F), 1 ramekin and 1 silicone spoon mold, 2 wooden sticks, 1 educational user manual.

HOW DOES THE SUNLAB® SOLAR COOKER WORK?

  • Open the cooking drawer, place your preparation in a dish, and close it.
  • Position it facing the sun using the viewfinder line.
  • Use the rods to orient the mirror panel to reflect the rays into the transparent window, it's getting hot!

ABOUT THE SUNLAB

“Is it dangerous for children?”

Cooking in the sun is gentle, from 40 to 80°C. It is secured by wooden sticks that prevent the accidental opening of the cooking drawer, and it requires adult supervision. The SUNLAB allows for great autonomy for the child.

“What can we cook and how long does it take?”

Many delicious experiences, melted chocolate in 10 minutes, melted cheese in 20 minutes, reheating dishes, pasta, rice, ... pizza in 30 minutes.

“For what age?” 

For all ages from 6 to 77 years, it allows you to create, discover, and cook in the sun, thus playfully understanding solar thermal technology.
