Observe differently, without multiplying equipment

At dusk, vegetation, shadows, and reduced light can complicate observation. Thermal imaging allows for the detection of a heat signature. But to examine visible details, another mode of observation is necessary.

The HIKMICRO HABROK 4K 2.0 HH35L combines these two technologies into a single pair of binoculars.

The thermal channel is used for detection. The 4K digital channel allows for observing the details of the scene. The integrated laser rangefinder provides a distance measurement.

The switch between the two channels is done via a dedicated selector.

A device designed to combine thermal detection, digital observation, and distance measurement in the field.

Detecting heat signatures, even when light decreases

The thermal channel relies on an uncooled VOx sensor of 384 × 288 pixels, with a pixel pitch of 12 µm and a frequency of 50 Hz.

Its 35 mm f/1.0 lens offers magnification from 4× to 20× and a field of view of 13.16 × 9.87 m at 100 m.

The thermal sensitivity NETD < 15 mK allows for distinguishing small temperature differences.

The stated detection range reaches 1,800 m, depending on the manufacturer's measurement conditions.

In the field, this technology allows for searching for thermal presence without relying on visible lighting. However, identifying the animal requires sufficient observation of its characteristics.

Transitioning from detection to observing details

A thermal signature indicates a presence. The digital channel provides another reading of the scene, based on visible details.

The 4K CMOS sensor of 3840 × 2160 pixels is paired with a 60 mm f/2.2 lens.

Its magnification ranges from 5.5× to 22×, with a field of view of 12.8 × 7.2 m at 100 m.

For night observation, the binoculars have two interchangeable infrared illuminators:

  • 940 nm, factory installed.
  • 850 nm, provided with the device.

The announced night range reaches 400 m.

The thermal/digital selector allows switching from one channel to another without changing equipment.

Measure the distance directly from the binoculars

Visually estimating a distance can be difficult when terrain or brightness alters the perception of the environment.

The HABROK HH35L 2.0 integrates a laser rangefinder from 10 to 1,000 m, with an announced accuracy of ±1 m.

The laser operates at 905 nm and belongs to class 1.

The binoculars also feature a GPS, a digital compass, and a ballistic calculator.

A 0.49-inch OLED screen, with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, provides the display. The interpupillary distance is adjustable from 60 to 74 mm.

The internal memory of 64 GB allows for the recording of photos, videos, and audio. A Wi-Fi connection and compatibility with the HIKMICRO Sight app complete the equipment.

Night vision up to 400 m

For night observation, the HH35L 2.0 has two interchangeable infrared illuminators:

940 nm : factory installed.

850 nm : supplied separately.

The announced night observation range reaches 400 m.

This distance corresponds to the announced range of the digital night vision system. It does not guarantee identification at this distance under all conditions.

A user-friendly product

Four steps to organize your observation

1

Adjust the binoculars

Set the interpupillary distance, adjustable from 60 to 74 mm, and focus using the rear knob.

2

Search in thermal mode

Select the thermal channel to search for heat signatures in the observed area.

3

Switch to digital mode

Use the thermal/digital selector to examine visible details. In night observation, use the appropriate infrared lighting.

4

Measure the distance

Use the built-in laser rangefinder to obtain a distance measurement within its operating range of 10 to 1,000 m.

A product designed for observation

Six features that make a difference

Thermal detection up to 1,800 m

The 384 × 288 pixel VOx sensor, paired with a 35 mm f/1.0 thermal lens, allows for the detection of heat signatures. The NETD sensitivity < 15 mK characterizes its ability to distinguish small temperature differences.

Digital observation in 4K resolution

The 3840 × 2160 pixel CMOS sensor and its 60 mm f/2.2 lens allow for observing visible details of the environment. The digital zoom ranges from 5.5× to 22×.

Night vision with two IR illuminators

The binoculars come with a built-in 940 nm infrared illuminator and a separately provided 850 nm illuminator. They are interchangeable. The advertised night range reaches 400 m.

Built-in laser rangefinder

The rangefinder measures distances from 10 to 1,000 m, with an announced accuracy of ±1 m. It avoids the need to use a separate device to obtain this information.

Electronic stabilization on both channels

Electronic stabilization is available in both thermal and digital. The HSIS, Zoom Pro, and Sync Pro functions are also part of the image processing system.

Replaceable batteries and IP67 protection

The device operates with two rechargeable and replaceable Li-ion 18650 batteries. The announced battery life reaches 6.5 hours at 25 °C, with Wi-Fi and the rangefinder activated. The IP67 protection completes its design for outdoor use.
