The Protect Dog Armor V3 is the most advanced protective vest developed by CaniHunt for big game hunting dogs. A protection designed for the most demanding conditions

During a wild boar or big game hunt, the dog is exposed to thorns, branches, difficult terrain, and especially the risks associated with defenses.

The Protect Dog Armor V3 was developed to offer a high level of protection without compromising the dog's mobility.

Each element of the vest has been designed to withstand the constraints of the terrain while maintaining excellent flexibility to naturally accompany each of its movements. 


A multilayer design for optimal protection

The Dog Armor V3 combines several technical materials selected for their complementary properties.

The outer fabric made of CORDURA® 1100 DTEX features a Ripstop structure particularly resistant to abrasion, tears, and the most aggressive vegetation.

The back part receives reinforcement from Swiss Schoeller® Keprotec® fabric, made of polyamide and aramid fibers (Kevlar®), known for its excellent abrasion resistance.

The anti-puncture protection relies on several layers of high-performance polyethylene, combined with a trauma-resistant fabric designed to distribute the energy of an impact over a larger surface area to limit its effect.

An effective vest should never hinder the dog's movements.

The Dog Armor V3 features a cut designed to preserve a great freedom of movement while maintaining excellent stability.

The thermoregulating Outlast® lining, derived from technologies originally developed for the space sector, helps absorb and then gradually release heat to limit temperature variations in contact with the skin.

The result is better comfort during long hunting days, regardless of weather conditions.


Details designed for the field

Each element of the Dog Armor V3 serves a practical purpose.

Notably, there is:

  • an extended back flap that protects the opening of the vest;
  • a specific shoulder protection, particularly exposed;
  • reinforced cross seams made with high tenacity thread;
  • sleeve seams at the legs to improve comfort and limit friction;
  • an adjustable closure up to 15 cm to precisely fit the vest to the dog's morphology;
  • a rubber insert compatible with long prong training collars;
  • a retro-reflective band improving the dog's visibility;
  • a Velcro® closure providing reliable support, even in difficult conditions.
